I’m SORRY!

I’ve been completely overwhelmed!

Good Sunday morning my loyal MotoReaders! First off- I want to apologize for my extended absence. Without getting into the details, I have had A LOT going on over the past few months and all of it has kept me very busy… so busy, in fact, that I haven’t had a chance to even think about the blog, much less visit and update anything on it.

With that said, though, I will give you a couple of teasers of what I’ve been working on lately-

Probably the biggest and most exciting news is- I am collaborating with a good friend on a book! That’s right, a legit, real novel that I (we) believe will be a big hit. I won’t divulge any details here, but I can tell you, it’s a cool story with a lot of interesting characters. It’s a dark, complex and interesting story that should keep the readers turning the pages with baited breath!

The next is, new material for the blog! With all the new stuff coming out from Harley-Davidson, Indian, Janus and others, there is a lot for me to talk about. I’ll also be talking about road trips, gear and giving some good life advice that I’ve recently discovered for myself after personally going through some rough patches in life over the past few months.

Finally- if you check out the right side of the page, you’ll see a new feature- “Cool Gear and Other Stuff”. I’ve recently been asked to collaborate with a company that you may know already, but if you don’t, you need to check them out- Viking Bags (click on their logo and give them a visit). I’ll be reviewing one of their bags soon, so keep an eye out for that and some other product reviews.

Stick with me

I know that I’ve posted some teasers and I haven’t followed through (just yet), but believe me when I say that the past few months have not been easy for me. Life gets complicated the older that you get and sometimes you have to compartmentalize, prioritize and focus on the task, or tasks, at hand. Obligations, duties and responsibilities can often bully their way in and take the place of simple pleasures of stress relieving activities like, golfing, fishing, reading and cycling for some, or for me- writing and riding motorcycles.

To quote Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well, MotoReaders, consider this blog post as me, stopping to look around… then getting back to the things I love and enjoy- riding my motorcycle(s) and writing (both on this blog for all of you, and on the novel).

Here’s your homework… it’s Sunday morning (if you’re reading this at the time of it’s posting) and the weather is fine for living. You have breath in your lungs, a heart beating in your chest and a mind that is sharp enough to enjoy the gift of life that your God has blessed you with, so go… turn the computer off, put down your phone or tablet, breathe a deep breath in and then take a few moments to appreciate just simply being alive. It truly is a gift. Now, go outside and do something fun with your family, your friends, or just yourself. Ride your motorcycle, read a book, go shopping, go fishing, or golfing or whatever you do to relax and, at the end of the day, give thanks, tell your friends and family that you love them and appreciate them, and thank God that He’s given you one more day to do it.

Here’s mine- I love and appreciate you all, for sticking with me, reading my words and giving me a reason to write this blog in the first place. You ROCK.

More to come (soon), I promise! Until then…

Ride safe and make good choices!
